The PNG to SVG Converter is for simple artwork that needs to become scalable or easier to edit. Icons, flat marks, simple logos, diagrams, and shape-based assets can often be traced well enough for prototypes, documentation, or an early design pass.
Tracing is not magic. A PNG is made of pixels, so the quality of the SVG depends heavily on the source image, edge clarity, colors, and the amount of detail. Photos and noisy screenshots usually produce messy vector paths, while clean flat graphics are much better candidates.
Use this as a conversion starting point. For production brand assets, inspect the SVG paths, simplify where needed, and make sure the result still matches the original shape at the sizes where it will be displayed.
